Our Role in our Community

In addition to providing the local community with programs that suit particular interests (not provided by any other radio station), 2AIR also regularly broadcasts information about coming local events.

well we had a go!

Not only do we inform our community but we participate in many charity-related events such as “Shave for a Cure”, “Relay for Life”, “Biggest Morning Tea”.

The membership of the station is very enthusiastic in their support of our community and will “have a go” at anything even if it means being the “Wooden-spooners” in some events.
2AIR is regarded by many in the radio industry as one of the best organised and community minded radio station in Australia.

Our members participate in community activities because they enjoy it.
