Membership

Membership is open to anyone and costs $11 per year, renewed in July.

Only members can broadcast, work in the office etc.

We encourage all listeners to become members as this is a small way of helping the station you like to listen to.

A quarterly newsletter is posted to all members bringing them up to date with news about the station, events etc.

Apply for membership now. Print the form and send to 2AIR with a cheque for $11 or better still, visit our studios at the jetty Shopping centre.

Classes are held regularly throughout the year and complete novices can be on-air within weeks as confident presenters. All aspects of presenting are included, from working the operating panel, procedures, program development and delivery.

The station is very proud of the fact that hundreds of people who were probably too scared to give a speech in public, are now confident broadcasters, sharing their love of music and knowledge.

A small fee of $50 is charged to cover costs.
